Travelling to Lake Como to photograph Samantha and Alex’s wedding was a real privilege. I made the journey out on my own, taking in the surroundings, eating plenty of pizza and gelato, and enjoying the atmosphere before the wedding began.
The day itself was full of warmth, with friends and family travelling to celebrate with them against one of the most beautiful backdrops imaginable! Lake Como gave us incredible light, elegant scenery and so many opportunities to create photographs that felt relaxed and natural.
One of the most memorable parts of the day was taking a boat out across the lake with Samantha and Alex. With just the three of us and the boatman, we had a quiet moment away from the celebrations and were lucky enough to capture some very special memories on the water.
It was a perfect wedding in an extraordinary setting, and I was genuinely thankful to have been invited along to document it.
