Some answers to popular q’s

What kind of work do you take on?

I photograph weddings, portraits, food, hospitality, interiors and commercial projects. I also create short films and drone photography and footage.

Some projects involve one service, while others combine photography, film and drone work into a wider content package.

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I’m based in County Durham and regularly work across Newcastle, Northumberland and the wider North East.

I’m also available for projects elsewhere in the UK and abroad. Any additional travel or accommodation costs will be clearly included in your quotation before you book.

How do I book you?

Start by getting in touch with a few details about what you’re planning.

I’ll confirm availability, discuss what you need and provide either a package or a tailored quotation. Your date is secured once the agreement is signed and the booking fee is paid.

Are you insured?

Yes. I hold professional equipment, public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

For commercial drone work, I also hold the insurance required for the type of operation being undertaken. Evidence of cover can be provided to venues or clients where needed.

How much do you charge?

You can view my pricing structure, here

When will I receive the finished work?

Turnaround depends on the type and scale of the project.

As a general guide:

  • Portrait sessions: 7 days

  • Commercial photography: 7 days

  • Weddings: 8 weeks (often sooner)

  • Film/Drone projects: Project dependant

Your expected delivery date will always be confirmed before booking. If you need the results at short notice we can likely work something out.

Do you offer wedding albums?

I have sourced the highest quality wedding albums and offer absolutely stunning Fine Art Leather Albums which come in 2 sizes: 10×10 and 12×12.

Do you offer shorter wedding coverage?

Yes. Smaller weddings and shorter celebrations are part of what I offer.

Coverage can range from the ceremony and portraits through to four or six hours covering the key parts of the day. Full-day coverage is also available.

What is your approach to weddings and portraits?

My approach is relaxed, natural and lightly directed.

I prefer genuine moments over forced posing, but I’ll still give enough guidance to help you feel comfortable and look your best.

The aim is to create photographs that feel like you rather than something overly staged.

Can photography, commercial film and drone work be combined?

Yes. This is often the most effective way for businesses, venues and hospitality clients to create a varied collection of content from one project.

A package might include still photography, vertical social films, a longer brand film and drone footage.

The quotation will clearly explain what is included.

What usage rights are included for commercial work?

Standard use by the commissioning business across its own website, organic social media and general marketing is normally included unless the quotation states otherwise.

Paid advertising, packaging, large campaigns, third-party use, resale or extended exclusivity may require an additional licence.

Usage will always be agreed clearly before the project begins.
