Emma and Scott live in Dubai, but came back to the North East to celebrate their wedding with family and friends at Doxford Barns in Northumberland.
It was a proper winter wedding: snow on the ground, a warm and cosy atmosphere inside the barn, and everyone gathered together away from the cold! The contrast between the snowy surroundings and the candlelit interior made the whole day feel particularly special.
Later, we stepped outside just as the sun began to drop. The light across the snow was beautiful, giving Emma and Scott a quiet moment together and some of my favourite photographs from the day.
As evening arrived, everyone headed outside again for sparklers and fireworks, which brought the celebrations to a brilliant close. Against the dark Northumberland sky and the snow-covered grounds, it looked incredible.
They had travelled a long way to celebrate at home, and it was lovely to see them surrounded by the people who mattered most. A relaxed, welcoming wedding in one of Northumberland’s best-known barn venues, with the weather adding something none of us could have planned.
